Pettipiece has strong relief outing but Leafs fall to Knights
The Goshen baseball team started their home season Sunday afternoon. In six hours and nineteen minutes of baseball, Goshen came out 0-2. They lost game one in 12 innings, 11-13, and game two 4-15.
The Maple Leafs had to fight back multiple times in game one to stay in it. Evan Creager doubled to score Char Reeves and Morgan Baker in the bottom of the ninth. That tied the game at seven and sent it to extras.
Eric Pettipiece also helped keep Goshen alive. In 5.1 innings of relief, he allowed two earned runs on five hits. He struck out four and walked two
