Hello Coach Piraino,
I have been looking at college and university baseball programs in the northeast region of the United States. What immediately drew my attention to Onondaga Community College was the make-up of your coaching staff. Based on the large staff you have put together, I believe my learning and development style would benefit greatly from this environment, as there are multiple sources of expertise I can learn from. I would love to get a chance to work with your coaching staff to further develop my baseball skills. I also noticed under Coach Ludden’s biography that he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology/sports science/physical education, and I’d love to work with him and be able to create a solid relationship as that is my desired area of study.
My name is Trent Sillett. I am a 2021 Graduate from London South Collegiate Institute in London, Ontario, Canada. I am currently a LHP for the London Badgers Organization on the 18U team. As a student athlete, I take pride in my work ethic on the diamond and in the classroom. I am very interested in a Medical Science pathway for post-secondary education. Over my years of highschool I have maintained a 4.0 GPA, and have been the recipient of the Male Athlete of the Year award both freshman and sophomore year. My 2019 baseball season brought personal success as well. I contributed a fielding percentage of .975 at 1B and hit for an average of .358, later being acknowledged as Hitter of the Year.
