Lund Solid on the Mound for Salem International
Savannah State took the early lead after scoring one in the first. After five scoreless innings, Salem evened the score off of an error from Savannah State. Savannah State answered with two in the bottom of the inning to take back the lead. A single from Tyler Shinn brought Jared Palmyra home but was not enough to take down Savannah State in the final game of the series loosing 3-2.
Badger Alumni Jaryd Lund started on the mound for the Salem Tigers, giving up five hits, one run, a single walk, and nine strikeouts in seven innings.
