10u Badgers win first AAA Tournament
Congratulations to the boys born 2008 for a ginormous effort and their first AAA Tournament Victory. The 10u Badgers went 4-0-1 on the weekend against the 12-team field, including a tie and a pair of hard-fought 2-run victories. A 7-3 SemiFinal win over East York and a 7-5 win over Kitchener in the Final, completed the championship.
It was the ultimate team Tournament win, with every player delivering key contributions at critical moments. On Offense, the boys averaged 8+ hits per game, with every player collecting multiple hits. 9 different Badgers delivered RBI’s and every player scored at least one run. On defense, 8 different Badger pitchers patrolled the mound, and every player scored multiple put outs. Our 10u Badgers worked very hard and showed defensive maturity beyond their years, executing many advanced plays.
