Curfews

Tournament: All team curfews will be set at 11:00pm except mosquito & peewee where it will be 10:00pm or before unless a late game occurs and in such a case the manager will set a reasonable time. This means in your own room with the lights out.

Spring Trip: Spring trip curfew will be 11:00pm unless a late game occurs and in such a case the manager will set a reasonable time. This means in your own room with the lights out.

Being On Time: means that everyone can prepare for a game or a practice as a team. In simple terms, being on time means: Being on the field ready to go. This includes having spikes on and dressed in proper BP or practice attire.

ð  Not being on time will mean that you will not start that particular ballgame (unless the manager is advised in a reasonable amount of time beforehand).

Absences: Missing any practice or game without a legitimate excuse will also result in not starting the next game. Missing any tournament without a legitimate excuse will result in immediate suspension from the Badger Organization.

Vacation: You will be allowed a 1 week vacation period without penalty that must not conflict with any tournament or originally scheduled game. The manager must be notified 1 month in advance. "This is meant for a family to be able to get away during the summer months for a few days or up to a week. It is not meant as an avenue to avoid an unacceptable absence." Such as conflicting team or individual sports.

School Trips: School is a strong part of living and experiencing life. If you are going to be away on a class trip please notify the Manager 1 month in advance.

School Exams: We are quite aware that school must come first but we also must teach our players time management. If you have an exam you have been notified well in advance so we are expecting that all Badger players manage their time wisely so they are not forced to miss any games, practices or tournaments. It will not be acceptable for any player to miss a practice, game or tournament due to, “studying for exams”.

Conflicting Sport Try-outs: Badger players will not be allowed to miss Badger games, practices or tournaments due to try-outs for any outside sport. We will be tolerant during the fall and indoor Badger Baseball try-out period.

Hotel: All players must stay in the hotel that has been pre-selected for that team during that particular tournament. Any player that books into another hotel will not be allowed to play in that particular tournament. All hotels will be booked through CSTT.

With all rules except those marked, as “Zero Tolerance” will carry the following discipline. All rules are in effect during all Badger events throughout the calendar year (fall ball, strength training, banquet, indoor skill training, etc…).

First Offence: 1 Game Suspension

Second Offense: 3 Game Suspension

Third Offense: 10 Game Suspension

Zero Tolerance: Will carry a penalty up to 1 calendar year and including permanent dismissal. The offending player will have a chance to return to the London Badger Baseball Club only upon council approval. The offending player in question must file, in writing, for reinstatement. The severity of the suspension will be the decision of the Badger Council. Before the final penalty is handed down and within 1 week of the offense the offending player will have a chance to plead his case in front of the council. Within 24 hours of the council decision the acting Badger Chairperson will verbally notify the offending player of their decision.
