HI Everyone.. Just wanted to send along a quick update
We are in a real pinch now for this division as I am running out of regulation fields.
As it stands currently for tomorrow there are 3 round robin games to still get in, then semi final x 2 and a final and I have no fields available to get them in.
Then the issue becomes the wildcard and division winners for those teams that are in the mix. We will not know those teams unitl the 3pm game is done. This creates a problem with team hotels, travel etc etc. and notifying them of when they play, providing sufficient travel time etc.....
Then we would be starting 2 semi finals at 6pm with the finals at 830. In addition to that, there are diamond bookings outside of the tournament that are not permitting us to book into the early evening at 4 fields (City Wide, Dan Pulham, Emslie Field, and Cardinal Field).
Certainly not ideal.
Basically our only option at this point is to cancel the major bantam division playoffs and round robin games that have not been played. We are totally out of viable field options for tomorrow.
I do sincerely apologize for this. Those 6 teams that did not complete the round robin portion will be issued a 1 game refund for the 1 less game. Please understand that this decision was not made easily and we explored every possible option to get these in.
