London Badgers 12U and Ingersoll played a taut affair on Wednesday, but London Badgers 12U eventually prevailed 11-10 after taking the lead for good in the third inning. The game was tied at seven with London Badgers 12U batting in the bottom of the third when Ethan Cascaden singled, driving in one run.
Despite falling down by four runs in the fifth inning, Ingersoll tried to fight back. Ingersoll scored three runs in the failed comeback.
Ingersoll captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored two runs for Ingersoll.
London Badgers 12U took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Carter Egelton singled, driving in one run.
London Badgers 12U scored four runs in the second inning. London Badgers 12U's big inning was driven by a single by Max Thivierge, a walk , and a walk by Josh Vandenberghe.
Egelton went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead London Badgers 12U in hits. London Badgers 12U stole 18 bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Ethan Cascaden led the way with four.
